Favizap Tablet is an antiviral medicine. It has recently been approved for the treatment of mild corona virus disease (COVID-19). Favizap Tablet is a combination of Favipiravir medicine. It inhibits an enzyme called RNA polymerase that helps the virus make more copies of itself. This way it decreases the viral load in the body.

The most common side effects of this medicine include increased uric acid level in blood, diarrhea, decreased white blood cell count (neutrophils), and increased liver enzymes.
