LANZOX KID TABLET is a proton pump inhibitor used in the treatment of stomach ulcers, gastro esophageal reflux disease (GERD) and other acidity related disorders. It decreases the acid produced in the stomach and also helps in the healing of ulcers.

What is it prescribed for?
  • Peptic UlcerThis medicine is used for the treatment of ulcer of the food pipe, stomach, and small intestine.
  • Zollinger-Ellison SyndromeThis medicine is used to treat a condition where an excessive amount of acid is produced in the stomach due to tumors in the small intestine.
  • Acid related dyspepsiaThis medicine is used for the treatment of acid indigestion marked by severe heartburn in the stomach and chest.
  • Gastroesophagal Reflux DiseaseThis medicine is used in the treatment of reflux disease, where acid from the stomach enters and irritates the food pipe (esophagus).
  • Helicobacter pylori InfectionThis medicine is used to treat Helicobacter Pylori infection in combination with other medicines.
  • Erosive EsophagitisThis medicine is used for the treatment in the healing of Erosive Esophagitis (inflammation and swelling of the lining of the esophagus) caused due to an excess amount of acid secretion
  • NSAID-Induced Gastric UlcerThis medicine is used to treat and prevent stomach ulcers associated with the use of Nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs
  • Duodenal UlcerThis medicine is used for short-term treatment and maintenance of healed ulcers of the small intestine (Duodenal).
  • Active benign gastric ulcerThis medicine is used for the short-term treatment for symptom relief and healing of an active benign gastric ulcer

This medicine is not recommended for patients who are allergic to lansoprazole, other benzimidazoles, or any other inactive ingredients present in the formulation.

Dosage
